iPhone of Dentistry

It is human nature to communicate, it is also human nature to innovate and there are many examples of combining these two natures for progress.  The Greek messenger Pheidippides ran from the battlefields of Marathon, Greece to Athens, without stopping, 42.195 km, announcing to all citizens of the Greek victory, and then promptly died from dehydration.  In 1800 Alexander Volte invented the battery.  In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell said his first words into his new invention, “Mr. Watson, come here,” and the telephone was born. In 1946 the first modern computer was invented by John Mauchly.  In 1960, Robert Kahn invented the Internet. In 1967, Edith Clarke invented the calculator. Steve Jobs did not invent all the separate parts, however, he innovated by integrating all the separate parts creating the iPhone, an advanced handheld computer and telephone on June 29, 2007.

Columbia Implant Center was established on March 26, 2020, by integrating all the disciplines of multi-specialty practice such as Prosthodontist, Periodontist, Pedodontist, Endodontist, orthodontist, and oral maxillofacial surgery along with a conventional and digital dental laboratory, all under one roof.  What used to take days, weeks, and months to accomplish, like the journeys to communicate, we now do in just hours.
