Hegel and Nobel Biocare Implants

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831) was a German philosopher and one of the most influential figures of German idealism and 19th-century philosophy.  He believed that evolution will occur in a dialectical scheme which means two opposing components in interaction with each other will result in a more advanced result (thesis + antithesis =synthesis).

Today we are surgically placing a bionic compound (dental implants) along with a Biomimic material (bone graft and collagen membrane) resulting in an evolutionary product that is superior to the natural teeth.  These osseointegrated implants are more resistant to the endotoxins produced by periodontal pathogens such as porphyromonas gingivalis and prevotella intermedia.  This results in far fewer visits to the dental office to once per year for maintaining a healthy mouth rather than every 4 to 6 months.

We have restored more than 1500 Nobel Biocare dental implant-supported prostheses annually using a Hegelian approach to the jaw reconstruction.
